Whatagraph alternative: the data layer in your own cloud
Whatagraph builds its data layer on its own platform and counts every connected account. SightShark builds it in a warehouse you own. Plans, with dates.
Marketing reporting platform / 4 minute read / Checked 2026-10-16
The short answer
Whatagraph builds a governed layer of marketing data on its own platform, then runs reports and AI agents on it. As listed on 16 October 2026, Max starts from €999 a month, counted in connected data accounts, and the plan table lists Transfer to BigQuery as an add-on on Prime. SightShark builds that layer inside a warehouse your agency owns and runs your dashboards and alerts from there, with a chatbot on Growth and above.
What you get with SightShark
The data lands in your own cloud account
We write into a data warehouse you already own, in the region you choose, from the first sync. It is not something you unlock on a higher plan.
The numbers are cleaned up, not just copied
One name per metric, one type, one grain, one currency, across every platform. The work runs in SQL inside your warehouse, so you can read how any number was built.
200+ platforms
Ads, analytics, CRM, stores, payments, email and reviews. Tables and columns are published for the main connectors, one page each.
Ask questions in plain English
On Growth and above, the chatbot reads the same cleaned-up tables your dashboards read, using your own LLM key. One set of numbers for all of it.
What Whatagraph is
Whatagraph is a marketing reporting platform. It connects sources, sets metric, blend and currency rules once, and builds reports on top. It lists 60+ native integrations, IQ Agents that set up sources and build reports, and Whatagraph IQ for report creation, chat and summaries.
Everything below comes from Whatagraph’s own public pages. Each point says which page and the date we read it. Prices and plans change, so check the date before you rely on any of it.
Whatagraph lists two plans. Max is listed from €999 a month, billed annually, and Prime is priced on request. Both list unlimited users and reports, IQ Agents, and Whatagraph IQ for report creation, chat and summaries.

Plans are counted in credits. One credit is one connected data account, for example one Facebook Ads account, and Max starts from 50 credits.

Whatagraph Storage, described as widgets loading from pre-synced data, is on both plans. In the plan table, Transfer to BigQuery is not on Max and is an add-on on Prime, and transfer to Data Studio (listed there under its former name, Looker Studio) is on Prime only.

Whatagraph says it brings cross-channel marketing data onto one governed layer, where each metric, blend and currency rule is set once. It lists 60+ native integrations, plus agent-built connections for sources not on the list.

The detail
The same idea, kept in a different place
Whatagraph and SightShark agree on the hard part. Numbers from different platforms have to be lined up before anyone reports on them. Whatagraph says so on its home page: one governed layer, with each metric, blend and currency rule set once.
The difference is where that layer lives. Whatagraph runs it on its own platform. Its reports read each source directly or from Whatagraph Storage, which Whatagraph says it manages on your behalf. Copying the data into your own BigQuery is not on Max and is listed as an add-on on Prime. With SightShark the layer is built inside a warehouse your agency owns, from the first sync, in SQL you can read.
Counting accounts, not platforms
Whatagraph counts credits, and one credit is one connected data account. Forty clients with their own Meta ad account is forty credits, so the count rises with every client on every channel.
SightShark does not count ad accounts. Ten clients on Google Ads is one connected source, and every account under it is included. Plans count clients and connected sources instead, as the pricing page sets out.
Max starts from 50 credits. Count the ad accounts, properties and stores across your roster before you compare the two on price.
When to pick Whatagraph instead
- You want the data layer, the reports and the AI agents from one vendor, and you are happy for that vendor to hold the data.
- Nobody on your team wants to own a cloud account or anything in it.
- You want agents that set up sources and draft reports for your team to review before they go out.
Questions people ask
What is the best Whatagraph alternative?
SightShark is the closest one if you want the same lined-up data layer, but inside a warehouse your agency owns rather than on the vendor's platform. AgencyAnalytics and DashThis are the ones to look at if you want a hosted reporting tool with a lower entry price.
How much does Whatagraph cost?
Whatagraph lists Max from €999 a month, billed annually, and Prime priced on request, as listed on 16 October 2026. Both are counted in credits, where one credit is one connected data account, and Max starts from 50 credits.
Can Whatagraph send data to BigQuery?
Yes, on Prime. Whatagraph's plan table lists Transfer to BigQuery as an add-on on Prime and not included on Max, as listed on 16 October 2026. Its help centre says the transfer sends data to your own BigQuery account. With SightShark your warehouse is not a destination you pay extra to reach. It is where the product runs.
Does Whatagraph clean up and blend the data?
Yes. Whatagraph says it sets each metric, blend and currency rule once, on one governed layer. The question is where that layer lives: on Whatagraph's platform, or in a warehouse your agency owns, where you can read how every number was built.
