Marketing data platform / 4 minute read / Checked 2026-10-16
The short answer
SightShark writes your marketing data into a warehouse you own on every plan, with no limit on accounts per source, while Supermetrics lists warehouse destinations on Enterprise only and 2 or 7 accounts per data source on Starter and Growth. Supermetrics also lists Data Transformations and Supermetrics Storage on Enterprise only, and says it does not store client data by default. With SightShark the data is cleaned up inside your warehouse and your dashboards and alerts read from there, with a chatbot on Growth and above. Supermetrics plans as listed on 16 October 2026.
What you get with SightShark
200+ platforms
Ads, analytics, CRM, stores, payments, email and reviews. Tables and columns are published for the main connectors, one page each.
The data lands in your own cloud account
We write into a data warehouse you already own, in the region you choose, from the first sync. It is not something you unlock on a higher plan.
The numbers are cleaned up, not just copied
One name per metric, one type, one grain, one currency, across every platform. The work runs in SQL inside your warehouse, so you can read how any number was built.
Reports for every client, not one report
You assign a template per client. Each client logs in and sees only their own data. No second copy of the data per client.
What Supermetrics is
Supermetrics moves marketing data into the tools you use: Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Data Studio (listed there as Looker Studio), Google Sheets, Excel and Power BI on every plan, and data warehouses on Enterprise. It also lists Supermetrics Studio dashboards on every plan and publishes an MCP server.
Everything below comes from Supermetrics’s own public pages. Each point says which page and the date we read it. Prices and plans change, so check the date before you rely on any of it.
Starter is listed from $49 a month, or $39 a month billed yearly, and Growth from $199, or $159 billed yearly. Starter lists 2 data sources, 2 accounts per data source and 1 user. Growth lists 7 data sources, 7 accounts per data source and 2 users. Both list 1 core destination. Enterprise is priced on request.

Supermetrics says all its plans are fixed price and it does not bill for the volume of data you move. The one metered element is AI credits. Extra data sources, accounts, users and destinations are sold as add-ons, up to a cap per plan: on Growth, up to 15 data sources and 20 ad accounts.

The detail
Accounts, not just sources
Supermetrics counts data sources and accounts per data source. Starter lists 2 of each and Growth lists 7, with more sold as extras up to a cap, as listed on 16 October 2026. On Facebook Ads, an account is an ad account.
Forty clients on Meta means forty ad accounts under one platform. SightShark counts that as one source, and every account under it is included on every plan.
SightShark does count sources: 10 on Starter, 30 on Growth, uncapped on Enterprise. Count your platforms before you compare the two on price.
No plan to upgrade for a warehouse
Supermetrics lists Snowflake and BigQuery under Enterprise, along with Data Warehousing, Data Transformations and Supermetrics Storage.
Starter and Growth send to AI chats, Data Studio, Google Sheets, Excel and Power BI, one core destination each. Supermetrics says it does not store client data by default. SightShark writes every sync into a warehouse you own on every plan, so the history is rows in your account.
When to pick Supermetrics instead

- You want answers from live API data. Supermetrics describes its MCP as reading live data, and SightShark syncs once a day.
- You are already deep in Supermetrics and moving would cost more than it saves.
- You need a connector they have and we do not.
Questions people ask
What is the best Supermetrics alternative?
SightShark is the closest one if you want your data in a warehouse you own on every plan, with every client account under a platform included. Funnel.io and Windsor.ai are the ones to look at if you want the same collect-and-send setup from a different supplier.
How does Supermetrics pricing work?
Supermetrics lists Starter from $49 a month, or $39 billed yearly, and Growth from $199, or $159 billed yearly, with Enterprise priced on request, as listed on 16 October 2026. Starter includes 2 data sources, 2 accounts per data source and 1 user. Growth includes 7, 7 and 2. Extras are sold as add-ons, and the page says plans are fixed price apart from AI credits.
Does Supermetrics support BigQuery and Snowflake?
Yes, on the Enterprise plan. Supermetrics lists warehouse destinations including Snowflake and BigQuery under Enterprise, as listed on 16 October 2026, so a warehouse is available rather than standard.
Do I need a data warehouse for marketing reports?
Only once your questions cover more than one platform. If everything you ask is about Google Ads, Google Ads can answer it and a warehouse is work for nothing. The moment you need spend across three channels in one currency, or ad cost against closed revenue, no single platform can tell you.
